2-Way Miniature Inert Isolation Valve
Designed to control the flow of liquids or gases, this poppet style valve is an ideal choice where high-purity or aggressive fluids are present, such as: blood, reagents, alcohol, bleach (sodium hypochlorite), formaldehyde and lye (sodium hydroxide). All surfaces in the flow path are made of inert materials compatible with a wide range of fluids. The body and hose barbs are made of PEEK (polyetheretherketone) which performs well in high temperature conditions, is biocompatible, and is approved in a wide range of medical applications.

The flow path is isolated from the solenoid by a diaphragm which is also inert. The diaphragm material choices include EPDM (ethylene propylene), FKM (fluorocarbon) or FKM-GF (highly fluorinated fluorocarbon).

The normally closed and manifold models contain a patented seat and diaphragm design that provides bubble tight leakage characteristics, improved contamination tolerance and minimal internal volume.

Porting options include a manifold mounting configuration or ultrasonically welded hose barbs for 1/16'', 3/32'' and 1/8'' I.D. tubing. Threaded ports are available in 1/4''x28 and #10-32 sizes. An optional panel mounting flange is available for bulkhead installations.

2-Way Manifold Valve
Features and Benefits:
Inert materials compatible with most fluids
Encapsulated coil resists corrosion and prevents ingress of fluids which can cause premature solenoid failure
New patented seat and diaphragm design (two-way N.C.models) provides exceptional contamination tolerance
Valve life in excess of 15 million cycles and 100% testing provide long reliable operation
Porting and mounting options provide design flexibility
