Overview
SOUTH BEND CONTROLS (SBC) can now provide important and uncommon engineering, marketing, and product service advantages to manufacturers of equipment involving aggressive fluids. Our family of Inert Isolation Valves (I.I.V.s) offers a selection of control components and subsystems that are intrinsically reliable, of an advanced technology, and priced competitively.
In the family of valves, the solenoid is isolated from the medium by a diaphram. Other materials that contact the medium are made of inert materials such as PEEK, polyethermide or polyphenylsulfone. |

Inert Isolation Valve designs include a 2-way normally closed, 2-way normally open, 3-way, 2-way normally closed manifold and our unique 2-way proportional valve.
Some systems may be better served by a proportional flow control device. For these applications,South Bend Controls offers the Servoid® Inert Isolation Valve. This device is capable of providing an infinite number of flow rates and shapes in response to a variable DC input control signal.
For complex systems containing many valves, we will customize a manifold into which we will insert our valves. This significantly reduces the number of tube connections and potential leak points, consequent downtime and service calls. It also permits quick and simple valve replacement. The manifolded sub-system is delivered ready for installation.
This interchangeable, modular approach has only one objective; to permit the customer to order (and pay for) only those features needed - no more, no less. |
